WSU, Washington fans react to conference change announcement

The Big Ten Conference voted Friday to accept the University of Washington and the University of Oregon effective in August of 2024.

honestly if WSU don't make it to power 5. Should just not play Apple cup, so WSU can find other rivals at their level.

All of these PAC 12 schools will be mediocre at best in their new conference(s). Be careful what you wish for!

Do you really think WSU would wanna continue to play the apple 🍎 Cup rivalry game after being left for dead! I think not? Especially if they might have to go to the MWC, a step-down level talent conference, less tv exposure and less money 💰 and budget cuts! You could see WSU top student athletes exiting out to the transfers portal next season better competition conferences schools?

WSU will need to find an alternative fast, because Football makes up so much of WSUs revenue that it can't afford to sit on its laurels.

Apple TV is a month to month subscription based provider. There is no guaranteed revenue. Apple only said they would make a deal with the pac 12 if they could reach certain benchmarks of subscribers. They can’t reach a tv deal with anyone and are screwed. The Big 10 has a massive tv deal and is the place to go.

Good for UW, WSU hates it because their biggest rival was UW. That was not the case for UW. It was a one sided series.

Us big 10 fans don't want ya. Cross nation conference is a joke. Many said Nebraska was too far west a few years back. Next step seems to be adding Hawaii or some university in Hong Kong.
