I’m looking for some BFS 2 piece rods. The company that your showing had some nice but slightly overpriced rods. Problem is I can handle them online to get the feel of them. I could justify $300 maybe. Not a penny more.

Bought this exact same rod and spec 3.5-10.5g and planning on using it for trout and chub - freshwater use. Which size reel shall I pair it with.. 2000, 2500? And why

I had one but recently broke after catching a Opaleye. Great rod to have when fishing light and when on a motorcycle.

To know the sweet spot on a rod, take the low gram and high gram rating of the rod and add them then divide by two. The number you get in grams is the sweet spot to use in grams. You can go a gram or a few above too from the number. I find using this (my method) is the most enjoyable way to load a rod properly and be able to fish for long periods of time and have great control.

Also you don't need 15lb. Go down to 8lb or 10lb.

hey tony, i’d like to see how you might fish when the condition(s) isn’t great.. low tide, afternoon/mid afternoon, windy, etc. i figure some people can only fish when they find time, regardless the condition. maybe there are places for windy days? or lure setup to combat any of these conditions? or just avoid fishing at all? lol
