The Moral Letter to Lucilius are a collection of 124 letters which were written by Seneca the Younger at the end of his life, during his retirement, and written after he had worked for the Emperor Nero for fifteen years. (These Moral Letters are the same letters which Tim Ferriss promotes in the Tao of Seneca)

Came back here just to wright this. My friend, this channel and these series in particular are an absolute gold mine. Making this knowledge accessable, free and structured like this is what we all need. I never liked school, I wasn't a particularly bright scholar as well, but after finding out this channel and this knowledge I found I love learning as long as it's something I really enjoy and find interesting. Thank you for all your work, thank you for helping me find my way, you have no idea what it means to me (and probably others) to have such profound knowledge at our disposal.

I really enjoyed the reading of these letters most of the store WIC audio is pretty hard to listen to most of the people that read it are pretty monotone and they make the letters a lot more boring. I really enjoyed the accent of the reader in these videos as well as the pace and tone of the reader they made these letters enjoyable to listen to and felt like I was listening to someone talk to me rather than someone reading off of piece of paper. Great job definitely my one of my top favorite audio recordings of any stoic writings

I don't usually comment on videos, but I just wanted to thank you for giving us these high-quality recordings and let you know that you're helping so many people. Much love from the Philippines! 🤍

Thank you! These are excellent. I hope you continue and record more. Is it possible to add Seneca to the title? When I do a search using his name your recording of his letters don’t appear...a terrible shame.

This is a great playlist, but the audio levels between letters can be jarring.

Thank you for your work.

..."No one comes to their rescue? What is the state of things then, i advise you to keep what is yours and you cannot begin too early because later the amount will be of vile quality." Does he mean that the time left towards the end? What does he mean by the end Help me understand
