One great thing about the cornwell USA-made hand tools, is they’re made in an EMPLOYEE-OWNED FACTORY. Even snap-on can’t claim that. Nothing empowers workers more than shares in their own company. Better for the working class. It’s a step beyond simply a unionized workplace.

We don't have a Cornwell dealer here where I live. I wish we did. I like the new handles and I love the hard handles on anything

The cornwell ratchets are extremely underated. I love the 30 tooth ratchets. I bought the 72 tooth 1/2 drive about 7 or 8 years ago because they had the longest flexhead on the market at the time. I have yet to break it in the heavy diesel field. I have seen multiple long snapon ratchets warrentied in that time frame. Cornwell is an underated brand in general. I just wish that our rep would show up on my shift. But he goes months between showing up anyway.

CP I appreciate your videos. I’ve been a mechanic at ups for over 8 years. I’ve had Mac, snap on and Matco at other shops. When I moved to ups. I didn’t see a tool truck for over 8 years up until a couple months ago when a new Cornwell dealer started on my route. I’ve never stepped foot on Cornwell truck before. I looked through the tools with confusion. Of price/quality. I thought to my self this is either really over priced junk or really fair priced quality tools. I did my research after that and came across your channel. They’re are a lot of Cornwell haters out there, but you bring the facts. Instead of biased opinions. I’ve been spending money on the Cornwell truck weekly haven’t regretted my decisions yet tools work well, I feel like I can add to my arsenal. More quickly because of the more affordable prices. I think Cornwell is coming up and trying to turn the leaf to be more modern and edgy like the other tool company’s. I’m excited to see what they have in store.

I actually have some SK square handle(hard) screwdrivers and I have to admit the square handle does give you a mechanical advantage when turning it.

I stopped using traditional screw drivers about 10 years ago when I got a ratcheting scewdriver. Bought a regular size, stubby and a small thin handled one. Saves a lot of space in my box. You can easily swap whatever type of bit you need or easily add an extension if you need it.
