Haven’t seen or heard Matthew since an a concert with 2nd Chapter Of Acts in Lakeland Fl in 1975-76…he was incredible then! Then I heard this YouTube video and busted out crying…Incredible what gifts he has, and the work the Holy Spirit does though him!!

I was saved in 79, senior year in High School in West Hills CA. I was so grateful to Find Jesus! Rock and Roll and all the stuff did not satisfy and finally someone would share Jesus with a Long Hair Rock and Rollers. 2nd Chapter of Acts, Keith Green and all the artist were very important in my transition. I saw him when he was a long-haired kid back in the late 70's. I had a lot more hair then too! What a blessing to hear you sing this song! I saw you, Matthew with 2nd Chapter of Acts in Richmond, VA. I have always loved this song. I lived in Colorado Springs for 20 years, and it is an extra blessing to see and hear you sing this in the Garden of the Gods!

Still one of the all-time greatest male voices - even still. Sounds fantastic - even without his incredible sisters. 2nd Chapter of Acts was the greatest Christian rock/pop group of their time and one of if not the best ever vocal trios with the most incredulous harmonies you will have ever witnessed. Matthew is a genuine angel. <3
