Now a bygone era, Manning vs Brady, and Al Michaels and John Madden calling the game. Miss those days

I’ll be telling my kids about those manning vs Brady battles from the 2000s and early 2010s with tears in my eyes

Honestly after watching this my only conclusion is that Marvin Harrison really was that dude and a very deserving HOF WR

Marvin’s touchdown in the third quarter was simply iconic. Burned into my brain as a 12 year old Colts fan at the time.

Mannings anticipation and touch are immaculate. even on incompletions its insane. Brady throw to Ben Watson on the last drive was out of this world

Who would've guessed that two of the greatest QBs in NFL history would combine for 5 picks in one game

This was the year the Patriots blew the lead against the colts in the afc championship. They were up 20-3 and lost. Pats would have won Super Bowl against Bears that year too.

Boy was Manning amazing. Yes Brady rightfully is crowned as the best ever. But Mannings ability to see the game unfold in front of him and pick apart defenses was beautiful.

I may be biased as a lifelong Colts fan but that Marvin Harrison TD in the third quarter is still the greatest catch I've ever seen.

Man do I miss seeing these types of rivalries. I hope we get games like this in this decade

Those colts teams were unbelievably loaded on offense

QB: Peyton
RB: Edgerin James (Addai after 05)
WR: Marvin Harrison
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Brandon Stokely
TE: Dallas Clark

Not to mention one of the best o lines in football. Absolutely amazing teams for about 5-6 years in a row.

Miss this kind of football. There wasn’t a flag on every other hit. No PI on every other missed throw. And it didn’t get better than the quarterback wars of the Brady-Manning 2000s.

Brady and Manning.. does it ever get old? Will we ever get a QB rivalry like this again in our lifetime?

WHAT AN ERA. I knew at the time it was special but to hear John Madden color commentate and watch Brady v Manny just makes it so nostalgic.

Those players....Those coaches...Those commentators....The competition... The fact Billy B looks like the king of the pickle ball court.... Man, that was some damn good football!

In hindsight this game decided home field for the AFC Championship game. This was stretch where we had this game, 2006 AFC champioship game. The year after that we had SB 41.5 where both teams were undefeated.

The battle of the emperors .. fall in love with the game in 04 because of patriots colts Steelers and eagles vikings .. but I was a huge Brady fan and I was so happy for him and shocked at the same time how many seasons he was playing on such high level every season he was getting batter he was truly something special unbelievable how time flies 😢.. I really miss this era for me the game never going to be the same with out Brady Manning in it and so many other legendary players as well offensively and defensively .. Brady Manning will be remembered and talked about for centuries to come I’m honoured that I witnessed this era and my heart breaks that it’s over 😢 ..
