So right about the choice of fabric. I’m trying to not bring in any more 100% polyester items. It’s really hard because so many brands use this. But ultimately it looks inexpensive and makes me feel overly sweaty.

Great examples! I like the phrase "level up" or "upscale the outfit". Look more expensive always sounds a little odd, to me, although many people use it. You definitely leveled up your outfits. Your cargo skirt is a GREAT example of the value of a skilled tailor. You have a great eye.

You promote affordable brands unlike many other style advisers on You Tube who promote expensive brands that the majority can only aspire to own. Most people cannot afford clothes and accessories costing hundreds or thousands.

Some really great, usable ideas on how to level up an outfit. I "forgot" I own a couple of high end silk scarves that I haven't pulled out of my closet in forever. I used to wear one of those with a neutral sweater or blouse and basic trousers or skirt or one-color dress, and it would look instantly amazing. I need to go dig those out right now!

Thank you for this video. I have revamped my work wardrobe. I love monochromatic outfits. I love pops of color for the spring and summer but the fall gets all the natural colors with a little razzle dazzle every now and then with a pattern and a bold color. 😊
