Read this short story I wrote while the music plays, and then close your eyes and imagine it.


A city submerged in the sea. You see a vision of it once in a dream, as if you were there, floating in the calm water among the buildings. Everything is still, and it is strange, how the ruins seem untouched; time seems to have lost it. Nothing is in ruins, towers still stand tall and magnificent city stares back at you, laying silently in its death, but you can still see the life that once filled it. You hear the sounds of the water slowly moving around you, but you also hear the soft hum of the wind in the ancient trees, the birds that would perch in them, the murmur of people going about their day and the distant sound of gentle music. But now the city sleeps, unchanged by time, and no life will ever fill it again.
The cool water starts to take you away, and you stare back at its beauty as you move towards the surface. Your dream slowly fades, and you awake to see Mateias strumming a guitar and softly reciting a story.
