That is just a beautiful GS. I too love gold watches. I do have a Patek Phillips annual calendar in 18K ….but I have to now consider getting a GS also in 18K. I have met Joe Kirk (of Grand Seiko) a couple times, and admire his gold Grand Seiko.

Stunning watch, I've seen these in person and they truly are miles ahead of the competition in terms of case finishing. I disagree that 18k Gold is the prettiest though. My favourite Grand Seiko of all time is the SBGY026 in rose gold, just waiting to find one at the right price.
