$20! I don't know if I should laugh, cry, or pick a fight with a RedRock sales rep. I'm pretty tempted to check this out: what other accessories did you add (ie: rods, etc). That's a pretty sick deal, and it looks really comfortable. As someone who has spent years hoisting the XL2 around, comfort is a main concern now.

This is available under about 4 different names on Amazon.com from $20 and up. Con is that when you breath, the camera moves. I had to re-design mine so it was a direct, permanent fit with my tripod plate attached.

I wouldn't add a monitor to this or any noticeable weight. Not because it can or cannot hold it but without a counterweight in the back you can be prone to a back ache. I bought this unit as well and it's very good product, I tried it with a monitor and it was straining my back.

Very informative but damnit!!! why no video examples. Thats what we need to see... How smooth are the shots? You can talk AND show video examples at the same time...lol
