I'm not completely surprised Prust was suspended a game but there were other hits that have gone completely unnoticed...by whomever is supposed to be reviewing them. It is getting very annoying.

the elbow is weak but it's Prust's own lame explanation that ticks me off: "I was skating over for a routine check to rub him out and get off the ice and he bailed out of it and turned and kind of went low. It's just kind of a reaction when you're off-balance and your arms go up. I didn't want to do a face-plant into the boards. I had no intent to hit him in the head there." Volchenkov didn't go any lower and Prust raised his elbow and swung it - clear intent to injure in my book

I like Prust and I'm rooting for the Rangers, but that play is uncalled for. Prust deserves to sit.

I'm a huge Rangers fan and I think Prust should be suspended at least 1 game for that cheap shot. Matter of fact, if I were Torts I'd scratch him for a game after he served his suspension for all the dumb penalties he's been taking lately.

Lol dude there's been 2 suspensions on the rangers which were clearly dirty plays. Alot of teams have had suspensions

The NHL needs to get rid of 2 things in the game, diving/embellishing and illegal head shots. Srsly, Shanaban's honestly doing a great job, but players need to learn HOW NOT TO TARGET THE

Not like there aren't many dirty plays like that every game though. Just this one was obvious.
