my world corrupted

Phew. When I clicked on the video, I thought the world had completely corrupted. I'm glad the world itself is fine, but damn that is frustrating.

If you have a backup you could move the advancements and statistics files over. They won't be 100% right though ... idk which is worse. But it's possible to at least "recapture" your most recent backup worth of stats like blocks mined, etc. If you had a backup from AFTER the storage, that would be really close.

Here's the strange thing: my sister and I run a server with a friend, and all of her advancements and stats were erased. Mine are still there. I think the world is fine, it's just that somehow your stats were erased.

My tech goes on about back-ups, his RAID system and being able to even re-render chucks selectively in 'the time line'... the dude's a genius at tech stuff... but even I have experienced the curse of Mojankey and Win-DOHS before a few times.

That's insane :(. If it's something you wouldn't mind, maybe having a back-up world might help, but I hope there's a way to fix some of it

Mine did this yesterday aswell. I'd recommend checking your disc space and your drivers.

Oh god that sucks so hard, i'm a big sentimental person for statistics and losing all of that would be the worst.
At least the world itself is ok that's all that matters in the end

That often happens to me when i run out of storage on my pc with the world open, or while playing it, and the world tries its best to safe my world session and in turn thinks the achievements and stats dont matter 😢. But I've started to keep checking my storage every like 10 mins out of fear, and its working 😅. I feel your pain...

i have this problem in modded minecraft all the time, the only way to prevent it or get it back is too copy the playerdata/stats folder from a backup into your current world and that will bring them back it probably first crashed from a memory overload in one of your areas
