Not really. it's not like Japan has no US tourist years before. lol. A lot of people go to Japan to experience the culture, food, and its nature. not to mention it's one heck of safe place as well, so naturally there are people going. The depreciation of Yen doesn't matter too much, unlike Euro which is a different story. People would go to EU and buy a luxury bag they would have bought in the US, the difference could offset their entire trip if the price tag is large enough.

I wanted to take a road trip but my boss said no so we opted for japan because i was out of ideas. Now i wish i had just done a boundary waters trip, despite the wild fires effect air quality. I feel terrible and my upcoming trip to camp and see the fall colors in japan. I’m contributing to a problem and I don’t want to be a burden.

The American dollar is indeed increasing, but life in America is not improving, it is getting worse.. there is no use in a high dollar while the American economy is falling..

Japan is exporter nation. Weaker yen not necessarily bad for them. Of course imported goods can be expensive. But do the daily citizen rely on imports so much, aside from energy?
