Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by SHUEISHA), Mashle: Magic and Muscles, a wildly popular manga by Hajime Komoto that has printed over 5 million copies worldwide, concluded its story in July 2023. The disconnect between its depiction of friendships and battles of distinctive characters amidst the backdrop of a world of magic and its absurdist visual gags has made it a hot topic, and it is popular not only in Japan but also around the world.
The anime series saw its first cour aired in April 2023, along with several media franchise developments released, such as novelizations and a stage adaptation.
This off-kilter magical fantasy, with its unique mix of muscles and magic, will see its second cour air in January 2024!

About MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES
This is a world of magic. This is a world in which magic is casually used by everyone. In this world of magic, Mash Burnedead attends Magic School. To protect this quiet life with his family, he sets his sights on becoming a “Divine Visionary,” the elite of the elite, while hiding the fact that he can’t use magic. He surpasses the best and brightest of the wizarding world with his ripped muscles and faces the Divine Visionary Candidate Selection Exam. The second cour curtain rises on this off-kilter magical fantasy in which the power of being jacked crushes any spell!
