I love that he actually wants to play for our team and loves our guys! I think he will get at least a backup job somewhere but hope it’s with us. He doesn’t mind playing his position and is ready when his number is called.

The man might not be what is called an “elite” QB. But he has heart. Big mad heart. More than a lot of over paid wanna be’s. Even as a backup he is fine with that role. And I definitely want him in the backup rotation! Plus the kid has earned a decent contract.

I love this man and I would run through a wall with him as my QB. McLaurin is a better player with him, Howell is a better QB with Heinicke behind him. I’m sorry but I want this man to be our backup QB for the next 10 years

I hope it wasn't his last game here. He deserves a spot here. And really I'd like to see him and Sam howell compete for the job next year while getting a cheap cheap vet in here to play 3rd string but also compete as well. We did taltor dirty and he's done nothing to not deserve a spot here. We just can't pay him a whole lot 😁

I would have loved to see us in the playoffs, but I kinda like that Carson threw up on himself. It answered important questions at the QB position. Heinickie wasn't scoring enough for us to matter, and there is absolutely 0 doubt that Carson is not it. I think it's more important to find out what's Howell's game looks like so to figure out if we're drafting, shopping, or we have our franchise QB.

Taylor Heinicke will certainly get a good contract, either here or somewhere else. He won't make 40 million per year like Dak Prescott, however he will get a sizeable raise in the future, and he's earned it.

I don't see why they would just let him go they have more than enough money in all realness and he lead the team it's his team until someone can actually take over next year's gonna be a dead end again and it's just gonna be everyone wishing we still had him like when we got rid of Kirk cousins and look at him now we're always letting our qb 2 leave and they go to another team and will be great we fail to support and give actual support from coaches ron hasn't been good with actually making good good choices
