I got this and really appreciate the research that went into it and the wisdom it offers. I appreciate the no bs approach toward being honest with yourself and digging deeper that the book emphasizes. I can overlook the card stock because of how powerful I think this is going to be as a tool for me.

Ms. McQuillar's work has always had a place of high regard within my community. This poignant and timely piece of beautiful work sits besides her other books on my shelf. Perhaps Inner Traditions will see the value of what may become a worthy learning tool for many and invest in upgrading the printing and packaging process. In the meantime, I've got an additional copy that I will "Veronica Jude" with clear contact paper. As always, great walk through!

This is such an interesting deck! Thank you for doing a walkthrough of it. I really love that you add the readings at the end to show us how you'd use it and how it reads. Adding to my wishlist haha! :)

I just recently came across your video on the Sibyls Oracle and as you were going through the review, I noticed that with each card there was a connection made to several different Goddesses. This then led to an insight of pairing this oracle deck with the Trilogy of the Red Seeds Oracle decks, in which one could pull from these decks the Goddesses referenced in any particular card from the Sibyl Oracle. Essethetically and energetically I sense that these Oracle decks would work well together... what are your thoughts on this? What I also really like about the Sibyl Oracle is the history that we can learn, regarding the oracular as a spiritual pathway of the evolution of consciousness within our souls journey. Really enjoyed this review.

This is a cool deck because it is about how influential African spirituality was in the ancient world. Which is so cool because later on in history during the slave trade African people were treated as animals and totally exploited. This is a very dark and cut to the truth kind of deck with a scary crone voice. I really wanted to get the book The Black Athena by Bettany Huges to learn more about ancient African Spirituality. The art work is done in a style that is similar to ancient art work and garden mosaics, although it is new, but back then images were very rare so were very amazing for people to see. I like this deck but it’s scary!

Thank goodness for you! Finally working with this deck makes sense!
Watching all of the countless incompetent reviews of this deck, people stumble over their works.. trying to review, going back-and-forth in the book not knowing which way is up or down …and keeping each color section separate shuffling each individual piles…it’s obvious that I wasn’t the only person highly confused bythis system.
I really think that the creators should do videos themselves of pulling cards and how to do it, I searched high and low and couldn’t find any such thing. Thanks again!

I have this deck and although I like the book that came with the cards. It just doesn't resonate with me at all. I was really excited to have card based on Africa beliefs but I got nothing from them. I've been watching videos for a better understanding of them

I am considering buying this deck for the art. The low quality of the cards make me hesitate. It irritates me. Why create a unique deck like this and then botch the quality? I don't get it.

This one caught my attention! But I am holding back. That description of the cardstock really turn me off :/ The topic on the other hand, intrigued me. I might just try to look for some books to read related to the themes mentioned in the book as you read out here. Thank you so much for this as always! :) PS: The matter of cultural amalgamation is something I am glad mentioned in the book.

Yes you do say that, it’s more than one prophetess. The stolen True Story of the great mother!!!

@17:00 into the video ( as opposed to @11:00 ) The description of what makes 'it' a Sybil deck is explained once more = with the World View of adding / modification.

*Use the deck to ask, or comment* on a plan, relationship, and a path... but it's not anything one would expect. (( There needs to be more, - so use Creative License to Include Significators )) As the Author Implies = Keep a Dream Diary, as well as practice - what does the 'Core / Projection / Cool / Hot' cards from each of the FOUR PILES... choose to create new pathways with this one.

* one actual reading = came from a Male Client from California State* ( Which is in the book, and the particular stacks of Core / Projectus / Hot and Cold cards.) however... I felt it was still missing something... Where's the MATHMATICS often hinted at, such as ASTROLOGY and GEOMANCY ?

geargail
Автор

* The Concept of Secular / Sacred - is a serious 'obstacle' to get past - in the Two Doves Tale = which really needs much more FLESHED OUT STORYLINE that started to get interesting, but was compared to Homer / Oddessy Myth that only sounded like a 'name dropping' of the DuoDean Sybil Prophets.

*recently purchased this deck* ( each suit has 11 cards - but they don't fall under The Standard System of hearts / diamonds / clubs / spades.) = This doesn't work like a French Lenormand, nor an Italian Sybilla. --- certain cards are associated to a particular 'deity' in order to get the Days of the Week. = Significators aren't utilized... keep a journal as to what kind of questions one wants answered, and WHY YOU WANT to know rather than WHEN.

( This one doesn't have a Seasonal / Calendar - sense of timing ) = Consider using Multisided Dice ( sd12, for Each of the Core / Projectus / Cold and Hot list.) This one seems to follow AGRIPPA GEOMANCY... again, feel free to decide... I wanted to see THIS SYSTEM at work.

*It's not a gossip Sybil* The Author, Tayannah L. McQuillar - does explain how important The Historical Geography, but you'll need to still look at a search engine. ( not included in the published book.) The Anthropology - slant with a 'World View' vs. the United States with it's Separation of Church / State.

Not a bad deck in concepts but the art is to basic on some of the cards. Seems like a one trick pony.
