Love this lesson too! Plus it's fun to watch. I've probably been using "chicken" a few times before to express myself on something, and have only heard of "run around like a chicken with its head cut off" and a few others. Another great lesson! Thanks Jennifer! :)

Hi teacher, thank you for this lesson. In Brazil we have some expressions about chickens too. In the most time, it is used in a offensive way. But it is not always. This lesson was very interesting. Regards!

Hi there.Some words are new for me. that´s the reason that I had to watch carefuly.I agree that we don´t have to count our chickens before the hatch.

We have "walking on eggshells" idiom. It's very common here, but it also means some one walking very slow like walking on eggshells. ex: "could you please hurry up! are you walking on eggshells"
