Anubis is the Egyptian god of funerals and embalming, he's relatively young compared to the other gods. If you're interested in Egyptian mythology, I recommend reading Kane Chronicles to get yourself started, then you can do your own research. (Greek mythology = Percy Jackson, and Norse Mythology= Magnus Chase)
