I think that theory applies to nature as well, when lightning strikes are formed. Congrats, keep up the good work :D

the water in the bottle is like a cloud full of water, and the generator is like the earth.

That's really an amazing effect! Your explanation makes a lot of sense too. I can't think of anything that better describes the effect. Does that same thing happen with different bottle materials? What if you used a glass bottle? Anyhow, congratulations on 100K subscribers! You deserve every one of them. I've had you in my recommended channels ever since I found your channel, so I hope it helped in some small way.P.S. Keep making the soda bottle videos. You know how much I love them!

I had a glass of water at a Qdoba the other day, and each time I drank, my lips were shocked as they approached the water.

It would be cool if you added dye to the water to make the eletricity different colours

Congratulations on reaching 100K!

How badly did you get shocked by the charged water? Comparable to a shock from the generator itself, or worse due to capacitance?

i have tried this myself and do not recommend it the shock i got from the bottle was massive compared to what you normally get from touching the dome. it is somehow acting as a capacitor!!

Nice!  was  there any water breakdown occuring inside the bootle?have you tried this with distilled water?      love how you ilustrated the charge graphics. if you can manage to charge water to point were it can no longer hold a charge then the molecule would split. The challenge is to charge it to point of fracture without leting it discharge.

I Would love to see this experiment done using
Colloidal Silver...
& maybe a Glass or Pyrex Container (stuck on top of the generator with a blob or 2 High Temperature Silicone - a.k.a. Automotive Gasket Maker)

Did it hurt when the bottle shocked you?

As Faraday observed electric/'Dialectric' charge is actually stored in the dialectric....and NOT the conductor!
