A teen is arrested, processed into jail, dressed in a black-and-white inmate uniform, restrained with transport chains and leg irons, and escorted to court.

What I like about this guy is that he does not hang his head during the whole process. Even when he is in handcuffs and restraints, he tries to keep his commposure. He does not fall into self-pity, but rather takes it like a man.

The procedure of applying the leg irons is quite special. The inmate is told to lean foward on the counter, bringing him into a position of disadvantage. If he tried to resist, he would lose balance and could be quite easily fixed on the ground by the officers. The advantage to that procedure is that the suspect may remain standing and does not have to kneel, which is commonly felt even more humiliating.

The guy gets restraint devices that are pretty much standard: Smith & Wesson's model 100 chain-linked handcuffs, S & W model 1900 leg irons, and a leather restraint belt. While watching this video, numerous other guys may be in the same restraint setup. One officer carries some S & W model 300 hinged handcuffs on his duty belt. It's a pity they didn't use them on the guy, as hinged cuffs would provide a more severe restraint.

5:26 the cuffs just went on reasonably tight, and they won't get off again soon. You rather get used to them.

Good looking guy stays in cuffs throughout booking, then we see him put in transport chains with long walk to courtroom and sitting in them awhile in court, including walking to stand. Great one.
