i grew up in a very chaotic, broken home. a lot of abuse and negativity. my stepbrother was put into my life and we are very similar in age (currently i’m 15 and he’s 16, at the time 7 and 8) i HATED him with a passion. tbh it was just jealousy cause he had a better life than i did. we god over it a few years ago and i we loved each other but there was still a disconnect. a month ago we were at church camp and we were thinking about getting baptized. i was 100% going to. i wanted to be freed from my demons such as mental health issues. we decided to get baptized together, however we had a huge argument the day of baptisms and i told him i didn’t want to do it with him. when i tell you this man was brought to tears. i’ve never seen him cry. long story short we got baptized right next to each other that night and the next morning during worship this song was playing and over 500 kids were crying and singing the lyrics. truly beautiful moment♥️
