Absolutely nothing new revealed in this video. It regurgitates the same tired facts eg that Chapman shouted to John before shooting him. Chapman has denied this in an interview and doesn’t know where the story came from. Lennon was hit on the left side of his body and Chapman was standing behind him and to the right. He could only have hit Lennon on the left side of his body if he had turned around, hence the story that Chapman shouted his name. But if so, John would have turned to his right, not his left. Who told the press that Chapman shouted out to Lennon? Raises the possibility of another gunman hiding inside the building near the service elevator which would have been on Lennon’s left. Bullets in door on right also support this theory. The doorman at the Dakota was Jose Perdomo a Cuban exile who had worked for the CIA. His full name was only revealed in 1987. Draw your own conclusions.

Having been a Beatles fan since I was 10 YO in 1963, the two most difficult and depressing events of my teens and early adulthood were the Beatles' breakup in 1970, when I was around 17 YO and Lennon's death in 1980, when I was 27 YO. I had recently purchased the single "Starting Over" -- the first 45 rpm single I bought since 1970, and then the "Double Fantasy" album.

I could not bring myself to purchase "Milk and Honey" or "Menlove Avenue" which were released posthumously. I was just too depressed to find joy in his newest recording, which will always be a reminder of his murder. I haven't purchased them to this day, although I have all of his original studio albums.

This video is terrible, no investigative reporting, according to nurses and and doctor Lennon was shot from the front not the back, which means another shooter. According to a detective Lennon was shot inside the vestibule which means Chapman didn’t fire the fatal shots.
