Scared to NEGOTIATE at a car dealership #shorts

What is the world coming to? This commercial isn’t teaching anyone to become a better human being. “Hide behind your computer” is all I see!

I have been a professional negotiator for well over 15 years. However, my kids will be even better at this commonly misunderstood & necessary skill. I truly believe everything I’ve done in my life has led me to help others relinquish their fears and on their own businesses. However, at some point they need to leave the nest. Step out from under my umbrella. We all negotiate about 100 times a day. Think about it! Whether you are in a relationship and talking with your wife about picking up the kids from school, or a self-proclaimed "loner" ordering a coffee, You are wheeling and dealing as long as you are awake and breathing.

I absolutely 100% agree, I grew up negotiating for everything.. from talking my grades up before report cards go out to trading up lunch items at school. Yes the world has lost its grip on human contact and quality and service is pretty much gone because people are not able to or willing to negotiate.

The price a dealer can charge is significantly higher. I like buying from owners.

Even though I sell appliances and we are not allowed to negotiate prices, unless someone has shopped at my store before and knows this is our policy, I never get upset if they ask me once (sometimes even twice to see how I will react or test to see if I was serious) for a better deal.

I have a saying I made up and have always used in my career and whenever I buy stuff myself. "If you don't ask for a better deal, you are not doing your job as a customer".

The worst thing that happens? They say no.

It’s about negotiating with someone he’s not a piece of trash it’s just like the laundromat brokers you always talk about car salesman like cops are trashy eight out of 10 times so why would you take the risk
