I watched this video because it was supposed to be about what you can feed your dog to help raise the platelet count. He did not mention one type of food that would be beneficial.

My furry baby is a border collie/lab mix, and her platelets are 0-10. On prednisone 10mg. They always go backbto norm, then all of a sudden down to 0-10. I am so scared of losing her. The vet didn't mention anything about cancer. He did say there are some breeds that tend to get thrombocytopenia (low platelets). And ours is one of them.

I am fostering a dog who has tick fever and his platelets are critically low...less than 25. But hes playful active...hes not vomiting ....hes passing proper urine....but his poop is blackish.
