I've been there, it's mind-blowing seeing the precision that went into these gigantic blocks. They're not just square, they're all sorts of angles and they fit together perfectly. It just doesn't make sense how they made these and moved them, back then....???

Its funny how ancient people built the fort in zig zag shape. Later human built castles in square or circle. Much later after invention of canons, human went back to zig zag and star shaped fort because its the most efficient fort to defend.

Its fascinating that ancient people figured it out before medieval people

I believe there was a cataclysmic event that wiped out most of humanity reducing us to the most basic level and we had to restart from there.

The EXACT same building style was used all over the world thousands of years ago. Exact same style as the outer casing of the great pyramid in Egypt. Built the same on the other side of the world in all four corners. They are everywhere all over the world, built exactly the same way, same style and techniques that most people only have theories about today and would cost BILLIONS of dollars, countless hours and manpower to recreate one. Some of the stones they cut, moved hundreds of miles and placed and placed with precision that our machines can't do today, would take a whole bunch of the biggest cranes to move one stone very slowly not to mention to cut it PERFECTLY to fit with other stones with the same technique all over the world. The outside stones and polygonal block style building with the same peefection and same "nubs" on random blocks. All the ancient tribes and history we know about all pretty much say the same thing. That they found and inhereted building from "the gods" and history basically being erased and started over...

It has the same shape like Boertange in the Netherlands!!! Boertange was a fortress village, wich couldn't be conquered due to its shape!!! The zigzag and pointy shape prohibits enemies from approaching unseen!!! So this must have been a fortress too!!!

Seems that we've lost some technology from the past.

Mission accomplished. People are flabbergasted even a few thousand years later

How incredibly beautiful and unbelievable masonry, how the Heck could they carve such behemoth stones, how did they move such stones? Very amazing and intricate stone walls! I'm in AWE of this!❤

What I want to see is the place where they come from.
My theory is that these blocks came from
Crushed stone. Turned onto cement and poured in sacks made of a material that
Is why every edge is round and have protruding sides. Tell me if I'm wrong and why. Thank you.

I've read that the stones weren't that closely fitted when first built. The builders intended for the structure to move, like modern skyscrapers, to withstand any ground shifting, weather, and seismic activity. This made the structure get stronger with age as the stones shifted further into place over time instead of falling apart. I find that so much more incredible than the idea of some lost advanced technology.

No one knows, or even has a decent theory of just how these ancient people were able to work megalithic blocks with such breathtaking precision. A precision that goes beyond even our ability to recreate a similar megalithic polygonal wall. 😮🇬🇧🌈♥️👍

There's one area where there's a number of Walls which create a number of levels at different altitudes. The theory is that they discovered some crops grow better at higher or lower altitudes. So on each level they would grow different crops. There's also water channels on those levels so rainwater can move from the top level down through the various levels all the way to the bottom. I'm pretty sure it's at the same site. Actually I think I'm thinking of Machu Picchu
