Good afternoon Sensei . ! I am really getting back to basics with the Martial Arts and finding out how good the the workouts feel .. I am also finding out my limitations in movements ..I am working out the " Kinks " in these old bones .. I am very familiar with the Nunchucks , but I haven't been really doing anything with them because of aches and pains ..But since I have been working with You , I am getting the feeling back and I can play these sticks like I used to .!! And I am learning new tricks from You Sir ! Like I said , Around the neck : I have never seen that trick before ..! I can play the chucks around my back , front and between my legs !! And then up around the waist etc..!! Thanks for helping me with new challenges .!! I am looking forward to seeing You play the Fan techniques..!Always learning .!

Hi Matt, thanks for a great class. I have two korean dan bongs. One with a cord and one without. I really enjoy using the corded bong on my heavy bag, being it can be used very much like a chuck. But in the area where i reside, it is illegal (by city ordinance) to carry ANY item designed for martial arts usage, even if possessing a valid weapons permit, unless the item is being transported to a location for martial arts practice. This is why i carry the plain 13" Dan Bong that is essentially a straight stick with no markings. Stay safe. Doug.

Love the video ! I've been wanting to add this weapon skill to my "tool box". Not sure about the legalities, but during an SHTF situation, either on my private property, or public, an advantage is having a concealable weapon that over doubles it's length upon the draw. Also, chucks can be made rather easily from basic materials laying around in someone's garage. It also seems like devastating impact/cutting weapon that strikes quick, repeatedly. A disadvantage is they only serve 1 purpose, a weapon. (Unless the person plans on beating rice stalks-lol) I do own a pair of speed chucks, previously owned by the late Demetrious Havanas. RIP "The Greek".
