I have the Dell XPS i9 (I opted not to get OLED) I've been very pleased with performance. I use a cooling pad whenever I edit and the laptop never overheats or throttles, full res perfect playback always.

Hi Max..I need your help bro..i’ve seen all your videos about MSI, MBP, & Dell...which laptop should i buy?..MSI P75 (specs seems great!) or MBP (specs u recommend) or Dell XPS 15 (specs u recommend) ?..By the way, my work is more on 4k video(a7iii) editing using Premier Pro. Hey Max, I bought and returned a Dell 15 xps as the USB 3.1 speeds were so slow. Dell could not fix the problem, they even replaced the motherboard. I really wanted to keep it but I really needed the external HD's I use to be hitting nearer 100 mbits per second than 68! We tried all drivers and updates but nothing could speed it up. Did any of your tests look at transfer speeds or HD speeds? For as an editor or motion graphics creator I really need to have fast hd speeds and most reviews I see don't cover this. I do use a couple of external ssd's but even these performed less than other machines I tested. If possible on future reviews it would be great to hear your thoughts on transfer read and write speeds. Thanks! Great content as always!
