How I landed 3 Internships in Electrical Engineering | How to get an electrical engineering internship in 2021.
Welcome To My Channel “Ali the Dazzling”

Hello There!

I did three internships in electrical engineering, at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, NASA Kennedy Space Center, and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In this video I tell you how to obtain such internships, and break it down to the fundamentals. No tricks or tactics, but rather basic principles everyone should follow. This is especially useful if you are a freshman trying to get an internship wondering how to do an engineering internship as freshman or sophomore. While this applies mainly to Electrical Engineering students, this is applicable to anyone wondering how to get an internship (especially a summer internship) in 2021.

My brother helped me land my 1st internship. It was not bad after that.

I am studying my second semester of Electrical engineering at a Community College in Kansas. Im worried about the internships due to 2 facts: I am studying at a community college and I am an international student.
The things that I am doing to build skills are:
*Learning how to code. (I'm currently learning programming logic, after that I will learn how to code in C)
*I bought a electronics kit in amazon to learn the basics by myself and do some personal projects. Mainly because I want to start with an advantage once I take related classes.
If you have a recomendation reply to me! Thanks.

Hey Ali, many thank for such a useful video! I am in going to begin university next year for year-one in (probably) computer engineering. I'm really confused about what I should do with my time throughout the degree. I know my university offers a 16-month co-op internship placement after the third year. To get a good co-op position I'm unsure if I should focus more on getting good marks, doing research with professors, doing smaller internships in years 1 and 2, doing design teams, or anything else really. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me navigate through this process. Thanks so much

Hey Ali. Thank you for your informative and entertaining videos! I am in a Computer Science program and, after much consideration, looking to transfer to Electrical Engineering at Syracuse University. I am curious, going to school in NY, how did you participate in internships with NASA, JPL, and Northrop Grumman?

Hi Ali, I'm currently starting my second-year student in electrical engineering with no internship experience and technical skills to show off on my resume. I have really good grades and top of my class, but I'd like to ask what more can I do outside the classroom to give myself an edge over my peers. I tried to get into programming (specifical python) but it just wasn't for me. I find myself lost and sometimes questioning myself if this is the right path for me even though I really enjoy the classroom experience. I'd really appreciate it if you could suggest something I could get involved with to boost my employability and confidence overall as a prospective electrical engineer. Thank you.

do some electrical engineers work with electronics in like phones or pcs? or do you need a to be a specific title to do that and not just being an electrical engineer?

But they have this criteria called security clearance and international students are not allowed for the internships, does anyone somehow managed to get an internship tho?

Hey, I have a question. I'm currently a third-year student majoring in Computer and Communications Engineering. In the upcoming fall semester, I will be taking four different elective courses that cover the basics in my field of interest. These courses include projects that need to be completed as part of the curriculum. Do you think these courses will be enough for me to get an internship by the summer? Or I need to work on other projects?
