Layne and Cornell had the best vocals at that time. RIP Layne Staley and Chris Cornell.

I know Kurt Cobain always overshadowed the rest, but imo Chris Cornell was the best writer and vocalist of the grunge era. Possible one of the best of all time. His music always had a complexity to it that other grunge bands didn’t have, and his voice was just incredible.

I know Layne Staley's sister and man do they look alike. Our son's go to School and play sports together. First time I met her I was late to one of their games and I came speeding in playing "Man in the box." She came over laughing and introduced herself. His voice was the best, so much soul and emotion.
