I use the mx keys and master 3 with my Macbook Air while its on a laptop stand and it's such a great experience.

Adding the Apple SD Card Reader is a great choice if one is needed. Given all the complaints of the Intel iMac having the SD Card port on the back! So the missing port can be easily addressed a $40 adapter if needed and would be more accessible than if one was on the rear!

I use the same Logitech Keyboard/mouse models (I think MX2 mouse but same layout). I love them. So comfy and the keyboard is great to type on!

Always, always, always recommend just buying a NVMe SSD and a Thunderbolt enclosure compared to a pre-built external SSD. Generally better speeds can be possible not to mention you can just update the SSD whenever applicable or the enclosure whenever a faster one is necessary

When you started to talk about transportability I got excited thinking you were about to pull out a, designed for purpose, iMac "suitcase" (someone really should make one of those!), glad I'm not the only one who thought about re-using the box though!

Second, what did you do to get the MX Master to work on an M1 Mac? 😅 I have tried Bluetooth and the USB receiver and it still stutters so bad. I’m using all the latest software too. I replaced it with a Magic Trackpad.

I'm still not convinced that 16 GB of ram is such a huge difference from what the 2020 iPad are capable of. I'm still waiting for the 16 inch mac book pro redesign

I would recommend geting USB-C to Micro-B cable(s) for any older USB-Micro B external drives. Wife loves her green Air Pod Max headphones.
