Regarding makeup brushes: after I’m done applying my makeup, so I’m done using my brush(es) for immediate use, I wipe my brushes down with some Micellar water on a cotton round. (The same Micellar water I use on my face, so I know my skin won’t react poorly when I use my brush again.) I find this helps keep my makeup brushes cleaner in the long run (maintenance), and I can always do a more thorough cleansing later down the line. So far I have not noticed any decline in the quality of my brushes, but your mileage may vary. Anyway, just sharing in case this helps someone. ☺️

Hello Michelle, for the filming closet you need “carpet tiles” they will help to absorb some of the sound and are easy to layout. Look at FLOR or INTERFACE brand. Also maybe a bigger desk and built in around the window in the main office :) just my 2 cents

I think the filming “room” is fantastic. I didn’t even notice the a/c hum until you mentioned it and so I think the sound blankets are working great. 🙂 IMO this frees up the rest of the room so you can make it a non-filming work space that can feel less cluttered and busy with equipment. Such a good solution using that space. 🙂 Welcome back!

Yay! I clicked on this video so fast!! So glad to see you back!! Breaks are always important! I am on vacation/staycation this week and I do find that I am sleeping more plus it is more quality sleep. I didn't realize how tense and stressed I was until my staycation started.
