I waited 30 years to file a claim because I stopped going to the V.A. in 1993 after they told me all of my problems were my imagination. I finally filed in 2021 and got approved 10 months later for 4 different common Gulf War ailments.

I've been struggling with it for years and finally I got 10% for sinus 10% for the asthma they didn't give me anything for the sinuses but now the back deck they're finally giving it to us two of the guys I served with got 100% in the last year. Don't give up we deserve this compensation!

I appreciate you, from one AF MSgt to another. I also made this mistake of claiming Gull War Syndrome. I should have just claimed the symptoms as you said. I am anticipating some denials, and I will educate, and reattack.

filed a claim in 2012, went to VA in 1991 after Gulf War with Headaches, rashes, sinus issues, muscle, weight loss and joint pain!
was denied all claims in 2012 they said it was in my head and not from the Gulf!
Went back Last year approved for Headaches, Skin Conditions, and Rhinitis ! Still have a C&P exam next month for the muscle/joint pains and weight loss hopefully will get approved!
Glad I finally went back to refile. I'm getting service connection but disgusted that they threw me out the door in 2012 with all these ailments! They probably figured I'd just go away after my last run in with the VA!

VA: These gulf war symptoms are presumptively connected to your service in the Persian Gulf.
Also the VA: You presumptively connected conditions due to your gulf war symptoms are no connected to your gulf war service. Thank you for your gulf war service.

Been battling skin rashes, and cysts since I came back from the gulf war, just came back from VA dermatology, and the VA has removed 10 of them since I came back from desert shield, desert storm, and they will not give me a diagnosis, VSO told me I need a diagnosis to file a claim

I have all of the same symptoms. Was in the Marines from 1985 to 1991. Never left the USA.

This is interesting. First time I've heard this advice. To not file for MUCMI, but to file for each condition individually. I'll be turning this around in my mind this week.

Have all the synptoms for chronic fatigue syndrome. Rated at 70 for depression anxiety and insomnia. Got diagnosed with adhd ehile in as well. Going to shoot for cfs since its oresumptive and can be rated to 100%

question sir, when you filed for example lets say Migraine headaches. would i file "Migraines chronic presumptive of gulf war illness, MUCMI".
I have diagnosed migraines for atleast six month, Qualify for Gulf war era and or Pact act.
