As a Christian myself, I'm glad Jana took a personal stand and chose the dress *she* wanted for her wedding -- not perhaps what the IBLP expected of her, or what her father might have expected her to wear. At 34, she is a full-grown woman. She loves the Lord. She has her own thoughts, desires, and feelings. I think she looks so stunning in her wedding dress .. it's modern, clean, and does not show so much of her body as to be considered immodest, according to their beliefs. I wish - and hope for the future - that people, most especially those of the Christian faith, will remember that we all have a *personal relationship* with God, not one with a group of others who tell us what to do, how to dress, what to say .. all of those things are between God and each of us separately; and we make our own decisions based on our very personal relationship with Him.
