I routinely used to go one "self-dates" to do whatever TF I want. Being able to eat a delicious meal without cooking it or worrying about the dishes is therapy to me so I have a few fave restaurants nearby that have good service. If I get bad service(I don't mean when they're short-staffed, I can tell and am okay with delays I never go to restaurants to "grab a bite n run" so I usually have the time to wait n patience, they can get to me after the more demanding customers, I mean when someone is rude to me), I just walk out. If they want me to still pay(if I got rude service after the food was ready), they can chase me n I'll make a scene n make them pack the food, criticise audibly for other patrons to hear, n pay n give the packed food to someone who looks like they need it more or eat it myself ELSEWHERE quiet if I had tasted it n found it delicious. You ruined my self-date. You gotta pay in at least bad will. Idc what a bad day you had, kind people are kind, n entitled assholes are rude. I can tolerate delays or even not the most tasty but edible food, but not rude service. Anyway, so I routinely eat alone n if it isn't a place with books, I just sit, order, wait, eat, n leave. I don't use my phone. N I resent anyone disturbing my peace while I stare off into the distance, thinking. No, I'm not contemplating murder. Even tho my search history is filled with info of various ways to kill people without getting caught. I'm just a writer working on my next murder mystery.

yeah, but now it's about not looking weird for dashing in and out for a Tim Hortons. Life is about the dashes we make, count the dashes to the stores as few as possible, make noise for those nurses, doctors, and COVID 19 in recovery at 7PM PST. or the time in your community.
