I also come from the Perl/CGI era... I think you are overlooking that when it comes to Front End, JavaScript is the only game in town. (Sure, you could do whatever language -> WASM, but you could squeeze all of those folks into a single Starbucks). I see your case when it comes to Server Side. I think a good question is "if you are going to be a Full Stack developer, and you are only going to pick ONE language, which will it be?" In that case, JavaScript would be the answer.

I’m in love with the language where:
- `{} + []` gives you `[object Object]` (because… reasons),
- `0.1 + 0.2 !== 0.3` (floating-point math says hello),
- `"5" + 3` is `"53"` but `"5" - 3` is `2` (thanks, type coercion!),
- And `[] == ![]` is somehow `true` (wat?).

If you understand *why* these quirks happen, congratulations—you’ve unlocked 90% of JavaScript’s mysteries! 🎉 This language is beautifully insane, and that’s why I adore it. Who else here thrives on JS’s chaos? 😂🔥

I think coding is dead as a career path. AI is doing coding so much faster it's incomparable. The only people remaining left would be extra experienced that can do whole projects on their own.
Coding was a tool that was niche and hard to use as it required intelligence, but now that hardcore tool is dropping in cost. The art of writing code is dead, the art of writing projects will take over.
