Webinar: Connecting Eating Disorders & Trauma - An Introduction

Contrary to popular belief, eating disorders are not exclusively about food and weight. For many people, trauma is inherently tied to eating disorder diagnoses and symptoms. During this webinar, we will explore the intersection between eating disorders and trauma, including trauma within the context of systemic oppression. A brief overview of future research needs, existing treatment options, and tips for providing trauma-informed support will be provided.

Note: Types of trauma and specific eating disorder diagnoses and behaviours will be discussed.
