A year ago i went to confession to my local priest, he told me a story of when he was younger and that he had met saint paisios, he told he looked as if he were already a saint, he was able to see a man’s soul see there characteristics, there bars and goods, he told he was such a loving person to be around

I’m Greek who was born and grown up in Germany. Saint Paisios grew up in Konitsa, Greece. My Mother was born there, so every year I visit this small village in northern Greece. When I was young, I travelled with my grandpa to the monastery in the mountains, where Saint Paisios lived as a monk in the past. My grandparents told me that they had the honour to met him when Saint Paisios still lived in their village.

My exes middle name was the female of Gabriel, “Gabrielle”. She after 5 years together broke up with me the day after I was Chrismated into the Orthodox Church. I thought she would follow me to Church and turn to God with me. But she chose to not follow my lead but her own, and walk out of my life. I pray for her every day to Seek the Lord Jesus Christ in her life. I’m very sad that the influence of Christ that I exposed her to is now leaving her life, and she chose not to follow the way of God or to declare that Jesus is Lord.
It’s very sad but ultimately I trust God and will continue to pray for her Salvation alone. Thanks for reading.
