China’s economy isn’t doing well. Recently, complaints about layoffs and difficulty finding work are ubiquitous on Chinese social media. China may be experiencing the highest unemployment since the 1990s. However, today’s joblessness is more detrimental because it may directly translate into homelessness due to China’s overpriced real estate market and high mortgage payments. Meet a middle-class Chinese family that has become homeless.

I can't imagine how much anxiety and stress the father must feel in that situation. poor man.

Kudos to the man for purchasing food for the family. But my god, he needs to shut the f*** up and stop filming them eating. As somebody who spent almost a year being homeless, it is very hard to keep your dignity in such a situation. I can't imagine the shame of going viral for losing your home and having youe daughters live with you on the street. If you want to give food or shelter to those in need, bless you, but please don't make it about likes or follows, just do it because you care.

It's a disgrace that China has no real social safety net for its citizens. But the guy who filmed this family creeped me out. Something very disturbing about the way he focused on the little girl and kept filming them. If he genuinely wanted to help them, help them. But stop filming them as though they're animals in a petting zoo!

Those girls are adorable and its sad to see them have to be so thin and grown up ... and my heart bleeds for their Father being stuck in that situation but trying to put on a brave face. Xinyi ... you deserve to be a child. Mr Zhang You deserve a place for your family where you can be happy. I cant do anything but for what its worth from a world away I am hoping for you. You do not deserve this. Your trying your best. For your daughters and you. Its hard to ask for help you show incredible strength.
