Nationality- a poor person in a wealthy nation will still have a higher expected standard of living then most people in a poor one.

You might be from a “wealthy” country and still struggle to pay your bills, cost of living is not on parity between countries.

Today I learned that I’m apparently oppressed and poor… well goddamn 💀

Yeah, kinda basic logic... you need a good economy and currency to get paid well, you need good infrastructure to provide good economy, you need plenty of resources and a huge workforce to build the infrastructure, and at that point we landed back at colonialism

It’s all about the class that made it inequal, the top 1% finest own even more than half of the country’s wealth, while the poor 60% doesn’t get to own portion of it. Be conscious about it, no war but class war.

I've been a game developer for 10+ years and worked with big names but because I live in Jordan "middle east" I can't afford saving for a pc to continue my game project, because you get paid just enough to eat and pay rent, so yes my passport determined how my career ends

As someone who lives I 🇵🇰

I can say this is pretty much true

Very accurate. I'm from Pakistan and on average we earn 150 dollars per month.Although food is very cheap and affordable but technological devices cost very much. I mean a low quality mobile (150$) is worth our whole months salary.

The thing is that this passaport inequality is derived from class. Rich countries exploit poor countries in the same way that bosses exploit workers, especially by trapping poor countries into exporting commodities, that being by wars, neocolonialism, imperialism, economic dependecy, embargos, etc.
No War but the Class War.

While looking at it from a nationality perspective makes sense, we must realise that this is ultimately a class struggle, and that wealth inequality between nations is just as important as within them

Well, as a person from Venezuela (a country currently in a bad situation) who moved to Europe, I'm gonna make myself rich just with my talent and no one gonna stop me 💅✨

Yes I did. Looking at what people in Poland earn on the same position as people in e.g. Germany or US it is mindblowing. They earn 2-4 times more money. Of course living is more expensive but yet it still makes difference.
While we get our salary we often bearly make a living, ppl in Germany are doing much better in the same situation

As a Ukrainian it was a really bold move of yours including Poland as a "rich country" in a video condemning inequality, that the rich give the poor. Poland's Economy started to grow just after we freed ourselves from the soviets. As of now, many countries still see Poland as undeveloped and a place to enslave with their business. Not only that, this is especially hurtful taking into account how much Poland has helped the Ukrainian people since the beginning of the war.
