This album is on repeat it's my study album :) This song is amazing, I'm pretty sure this song is what makes people say they are very Alt+J or Glass Animals. But Crooked Colours really have their own feel which they have remained true to in this second album. Love it :)

There is a great way to discuss a sad, somber, frustrating, and maybe hopeless situation between a couple and this work does a good job of embodying those emotions and probably more.

It’s essentially a guy who likes a woman for pleasure and stays around for “a while” while she truly desires a husband and more but he isn’t so sure he can commit. That’s my interpretation but the instrumentals and vocals are quite telling.

This is somber music and the synthetic blended sounds mix with a vocal of a woman having sex while bemoaning the relationship she is in because the man can’t commit to her. It’s painful but beautiful because that’s what we’re made of. Fragments of broken, pained, love-seeking, relationship desiring creatures.
