Mega Man: Fully Charged is Doomed From the Start

Cartoon Network's brand new show, Mega Man: Fully Charged, released earlier this month. Based on how it's been treated so far, it looks like the series will be very unsuccessful with audiences, so is it destined to fail?

Very little promotion, terrible time slot and a divisive show already. The show is gonna do badly, the only chance it has is on demand services.

Mega Man: Fully Charged looks like a Disney jr show

First of all, this is not Mega Man, this is Mega BOY. Who expects a 10-year-old to qualify as a man? You have to be at least 18. Second, this synopsis is nothing compared to the 1994 one, where the characters were a lot different. We met Rush, the original robo-dog, and he was more of an assistance than the robo-dog the new series has. There was Roll, Mega Man's original sister, who was more of a household ROBOT showing support for her brother. Yes, I said robot, because in the new one, the hero's sister is a human named Suna going to school with Mega BOY. BTW, if I remember correctly, Roll was younger than Mega Man, Suna is the older sister. And what is the point of the Mini-Man, I don't remember the 1994 show having one of those. DHX doesn't know anything about the Mega Man we saw before, they're in Canada in case you haven't noticed. Don't create a series of a video game, unless you play the game and make it look like what the game was about.

As for Cartoon Network, who do you think is going to wake up at 6:30 AM to watch Mega Boy? The problem with this channel is when they acquire something, they normally don't care too much about it. They just give it a random time slot, and when the series is over after maybe one season, they may not consider airing the next season. They'll just it on demand or on the app. You get a large amount viewers from your programs when they watch the channel, NOT the on demand service or the app. If Cartoon Network continues this process by the Infinity Train era, this channel might not last.
