A tribute to the pre-code films of Anita Page (August 4, 1910 - September 6, 2008), with the song "The Very Thought Of You" by Al Bowlly (recorded in 1934). She enjoyed a fairly successful career in the late 1920s and early 1930s before her retirement in 1936. She later appeared in a few films in the 2000s after she was re-discovered by film buffs and she gave many interviews about her years as a star at MGM. Enjoy!

Navy Blues (1929)
The Broadway Melody (1929)
Free And Easy (1930)
Our Blushing Brides (1930)

Love the tribute and especially the 1934 recording "The Very Thought Of You." Ray Noble's rendition was the best of this beautiful song.
