Man, 7 years already . Chris was a monumental bass player. R.I.P.

There is NO YES without CHRIS! He truly was one of a kind! THE BEST!

My favorite Yes album is Close To The Edge. I don't think it will ever penetrate the the masses but I still find it brilliant.

It's also my favorite album of all time.

Man, that is so horrible to hear Chris was in such pain and was tortured by not being able to rest. I remember being devastated when I heard Chris passed away. He was the very reason I picked up a bass.

Chris you are sorely missed, my brother. I’m now 71 years old and have been a fan since the beginning, so over fifty years . Rest in peace, Fish. We will never forget your bass playing prowess.

Trevor is so smart and sensible. It explains a lot about his brilliant music. Loving Rio, btw!

I don't think I've ever missed a musician as much as I miss Chris Squire, 7 years and still feels like yesterday, it seems to be a wound that will not heal He was larger than life in every way. I remember the impact "Fish Out of Water" had on me and it became so evident upon hearing that album what a HUGE part of YES he was. His vocal and song writing talent on top of his instrumental abilities. It will always be a little darker without you

So sad to hear Chris' last days were so difficult. I wept at his passing as he was one of my favourite bass players. Lucky enough to see him many times over the years 🙏🏻

I met Chris several times always a true gentleman his performance on the last night of Wembley 78 was just outstanding especially HOTS the night was made more special for me when I was at the aftershow and his bass tech Nigel brought me his strings from his bass that night treasured forever RIP FISH x

Such a humble, caring, *funny* man. Quite a loss. I truly wish he didn't have to go through any of what he went through.
I am so very grateful that I got to see him play with Yes in August 2014 in Grand Prairie, Texas (Verizon Center).

Man, what Trevor said about CS's final weeks was tough to take, damn....

Every time I met Chris Squire he was truly cordial happy to sign an autograph and spend a couple of minutes talking about a certain song explaining the meaning behind it. Every time I saw him live I was more focused on him than any other Yes member. I'm sorry for all you Yes apologists out there, but *to me* Yes died with Chris.

Chris Squire was that essential member who is totally irreplaceable he was that member who was the co architect of the classic Yes sound and no one will ever come close

Trevor’s input brought a new dimension to Yes just like the Buggles did with Drama. But I’m an old fan and like the Fragile/CTTE era. I enjoyed the Union lineup as well!

RIP Chris Squire!

Nice to have some insight on what was going on his final days, as devastating a crushing as it is. May he RIP with Alan White
