The yatch is elegant and modern, the staff is friendly and youngg, I miss Miss Tam and her dedication so much. kayaking and swimming at the frog Pond were the most amusing activities. Halong Bay is amazing. And guess what? You don't have to pay USD 375 for a 24 hour experience. Other operators offer cruises as cheap as USD60 a pax for the same experience on smaller boats. It is certainly not just for the rich and wealthy.

I'm just curious - the cruise allowed you to fly a drone, and was that when you were on the boat, and the boat was moving? Or was there a time that the boat would anchor in the middle of the bay, and that's the time you will fly your drone? Asking this because I'm flying to Halong Bay this January, and I'm thinking of bringing my drone with me.

Hard to believe that's a "cabin", it's more nice than many hotel rooms. The view and balcony are amazing but to have the same view from a bathtub is just cherry on top.

Can you please help with one thing I can't seem to calculate. What time does the bus get back to Hanoi after the cruise ? I need to book a flight to Da Nang and am scared to book the flight without knowing the estimated time of arrival back in Hanoi. We booked the 3 day/2 night cruise. So psyched!!!!
