Biden should have pardoned Donald Trump, after taking thePresidential oath.
In his commencement Speech, he should have pardoned Donald Trump!
I thought this, at out the time, if Trump wasn’t pardoned quickly, he would use any attempt to bring him to justice, as material to run for the Oval Office, again.
The second mistake the new administration made, was not to keep Trump’s boarder policies in place.
The new president should not have asked for President Trump’s permission, just announced it.
His passionate supporters thought, the Donald had won the election, Biden should have reached out to the Trump constituency by cancelling all criminal prosecutions.
Biden could have use President Ford’s pardoning of “Richard Nixon to bring the country together” as precedent.
By dragging President Trump through numerous courts, on nearly a daily basis, his supporters rightly thought, they were being violated politically and Donald was appearing in an ongoing show trial.
Instead the ex president was granted the chance to be in the media limelight constantly and painting himself be as a victim of a federal government vendetta.
Even some democrats were brought to this conclusion.
If president Trump, the president elect, had been pardoned, he probably would have run for the White House again but without his campaign being super charged by Sleepy Jo’s stupidity.
Having been pardoned, the Donald would have spent two years at his home, Mar-a-Lago, playing golf, costing Rupert Murdock advertising money, by calling into Fox and Friends, making the occasional, paid for media appearances.
But Joe Biden, after 40 years of trying to get the keys to the Oval Office, the deal maker in the senate, Obama’s loyal and politically incisive deputy, acted like a novice, when he had reached his life’s goal of being president.
Even Jimmy Carter R I P would have seen sense.
Instead Biden goes on to repeal the southern borders restrictions, which had stemmed the migrants crossing illegally from Mexico. Like many western countries curtailing migration had become an electoral priority.
Although I have no problem with migration, for a leader of a G 7 country, to encourage greater numbers of people to enter the country illegally, is mind bogglingly, naive.
Within a year the border appears in crisis and the vice president is tasked with with securing the southern border, again.
Supplying the Trump media organisation with more free, propaganda to demonstrate the Democratic Party doesn’t understand peoples’ fears.
Next, to allow the department of justice to embark on a crusade to prosecute his predecessor, maybe have been morally correct but as a strategy to lock in Biden’s second election win, to my mind, was catastrophic.
To compound the decision to pursue Trump legally, the White House should have checked if Biden had any secret documents of his own home before the FBI raided the Donald’s house, in the full glare of the media.
Once again surrendering the news cycle to your opponent. Within a month the FBI announced Joe Biden was being investigated for the same offence, here again elevating Trump’s martyrdom status.
We jump forward nearly 4 years and President Biden totally misuses his power to pardon by pardoning his son.
As a loving father, the pardon, is totally understandable. Politically it set a precedent that can’t be undone.
If or when the new President Trump, 47, pardons, himself and the people who stormed the Capitol, no body can criticise him.
Well that’s my rant over.
Please comment, tell me what an idiot I am.
And subscribe for more rubbish.
