During the pandemic TUCKER stepped out solo on the soundtrack to the 2022 Emmy® nominated film CURED with his original song THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RAINBOW, an “affecting LGBTQ-rights anthem” on the LA Times 2022 Oscar buzz playlist. The song was nominated for a Music + Sound Award for Best Original Composition in a Feature Film, as well as a Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Original Song in a Documentary in a category with Jon Batiste, Brian Wilson, Diane Warren, and Rufus Wainwright.
After premiering a song for Stonewall Gives Back on a bill with Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, and Cyndi Lauper, and singing in the Forum for Cultural Engagement’s Walt Disney 120th birthday show for the US State Dept.’s American Center in Moscow, TUCKER’s artist project went to the next level with the release of fun, funky and fresh singles featuring his virtuosic vox that have garnered over 1.5M streams on Spotify alone. One of his latest, CAN'T HELP MYSELF, features global thought leader Dr. Robin Stern invoking the term she coined, “The Gaslight Effect,” which has had worldwide impact in psychology, politics, and beyond. The duo premiered their landmark collaboration at fashion industry leader Veronica Beard's LA and NYC retail locations in live events that merged music, emotional intelligence, and clothing designed to empower women.
