Thanks for creating and posting these videos. I migrated from a 1 TB SSD to a 4 TB SSD. They were perfect and I just had to figure out if I needed to format the new drive or not before the migration started. I went ahead and formatted it. thanks again!

Thank you so much, the best content I've found on this matter. I can only ask, after doing all this I find myself still having the files in the old partition. How can I delete them? and how can I make sure the main disk is the new one?

Why does my PC take forever / way more slower to boot up after following this?

So it looks like everything copied. But the little windows sign is still on the original C drive and the drive I wanted to get everything copied on shows up as the D drive. Originally this one was the S drive

does migrating os to another drive retain applications installed on that drive ? After migration does the previously installed application run ?

Hello, what does it mean when im trying to install diskgenius there this warning that says, dont install it on the partition where you want to recover files. Im not that techy so..

I only have 1 drive that is currently used and want to upgrade it to a bigger ssd.

So basically i only have the C drive to install it to. Does this mean i have to install it on another drive that is not what i currently use for safety?

Excellent video! I had exact this issue. I successfully migrated my C drive onto a new 2 terabyte ssd. The computer is set to boot from the new drive, effectively making that my C drive. Problem is, it’s not. It’s my G drive. How do I make my new drive my C drive so that I can format the old one and use it for storage?

does doing this make it so my OS and everything gets moved to the new drive? And if so does my old drive still contain all the data excluding the OS
