To be fair the tech boom should be a 'favourite' time period for all traders that were trading at that time. Good interview. We like how Anton confirms that a trader's differentials or even the fact that they lost a certain amount of money is looked at favourably by employers. It DOES help you learn faster once you have positions to analyse. Thanks for the video.

I think the idea of 'doing' to set one apart from the rest, and using ones own money to do it, applies not just in trading but in most professions. It is the basis of entrepreneurship.

With my desire to learn more about portfolio and risk management, I came across this video and I'm really lucky I did.

As a freshgrad who works in the IT side of a hedgefund company, I have little to no idea about finance, economics or how stock market works. Its really a great help for me to listen from someone who has experience. I might have no idea yet about fundamentals or even technicals with regards to portfolio management. I still feel lucky that I'm learning about the best attitude to have before entering the world of investment or trading.

* Be Patient
* Have emotional detachment to your P&L
* Learn towards generating good ideas (which I have to really work on as of the moment 😂)

As a last note, Anton is full of wisdom and I enjoy binge watching his videos and seminars. Great work and God bless!

Fun days in early 90's. I taught a friend how to trade; he became chief trader at a NY bank. Big moves in forex back then. I would routinely call a 400 pip move overnight, then we'd head for the bar. Haha. In futures, I shorted GBP around 1.98. Noooo, i'm not George Soros! --then retail forex arrived. But it had years of troubles: companies were raided. The courts finally said it was legal. O! the good ole days!
