I never thought link building was so great. I was told to tell our clothing designer vendors that it would " be in their best interest" to link inquiries to us. We're one of their retailers. But how could this be a winner? First, a growing number of design lines have their own online store and many retailers who sell their products.

Why funnel traffic to Cladin? How do you carve out the links amongst many stores by linking directly to the retailers webpage. Do you judge by volume of current business from store purchasing your line?

Stick with content. Engage your customers, make shopping with your store fun, thank your loyal customers and always be fair, with honest pricing and great customer service. The money will come.

Have to be careful John. You are spreading misinformation. Having a blog on its own domain, a sub domain or a directory is not equivalent. They are completely different with different pros and cons. If it is on a directory then it is on your main website. If people link to your blog post that supports your domain authority. In addition it allows you to drive more traffic to your main website. So they are not in any way really
