I had to throw some money on Alabama moneyline. +550 for a team that can probably beat anyone on any given day if their 3s are falling is too good to pass up.

I'm on NC State under 68.5 too actually so perhaps great minds think alike.

Public gonna make me money tonight. NC State made me money, I bet ML against Duke but this is different.

I have NC state +9.5. Purdue is not a runaway and hide team from anybody but my fear is if they can control the interior early, will they force State to get away from what has made them successful during this run . Purdue wins 78-72

As far as uconn there is no way Alabama keeps this close Uconn will runaway 95-67

Steve…I’ve been watching the NCAA Tournament since the mid 70s (UCLA & NC ST w/David Thompson), Alabama reminds me of those great UNLV teams of the 70s, a great offense, a Final Four appearance but no real chance to beat UConn. The question is can they keep it close?I think they can FOR A HALF. I think Alabama’s offense is as good as any that I have seen in recent years, so I’ll bet the first half in that semifinal game…

I’m with the public on this game Purdue/NC ST…Edey’s height is always a problem but Burns is an extremely SMART player…he finds different ways to impact the game as a passer and scorer. I think it’s key that Burns stay out of first half foul trouble, if he does and he can play freely in the second half, I think the Wolfpack keep this within the number. I started watching this tournament 50 years ago (1974)…that year by coincidence, NC ST Wolfpack with David Thompson beat the dominant, 7 year reigning champions UCLA Bruins with Bill Walton in double OT. 50 years later, can they do it again? I believe they can…I’ll take NC ST and the points in this one! 🏀

My final four plays.- 2 units on the UConn/Bama Under. And 1 unit on Purdue laying.
In my opinion, at this point it's not about numbers, it's about matchups. And the first game in my eyes, will be decided by how competent Smith can be at running the show. He has largely impressed me this season, and certainly in this tourney. If they are going to have any chance against Uconn on Monday, it will be because Smith and Jones played at their peaks. I'm still inclined to think the Huskies are double digit points better than every other team.

Great content, Steve. These games seem like live bet type games. NC State chances r if they can push Edey out further away from the basket without Burns getting in foul trouble. That will be a fascinating matchup. Edey inside 6 ft….forget about it.😂
